Now, the band have ventured back into this avenue, with upcoming album Song Machine boasting a feature on every track. Yesterday, Gorillaz shared a new instalment to the Song Machine with possibly the most exciting of features yet, having managed to secure The Cure’s Robert Smith. Track of the Day: Gorillaz – Friday 13th (feat. Octavian)

Our latest Track of the Day is 'Friday 13th', a laid back release from Gorillaz and French-British rapper and songwriter Octavian. The song features in episode four of Gorillaz' 'Song Machine' series.  The track possesses some silky smooth and warm synth sounds that compliment the song's other components well by sitting back in the mix, letting the drums and vocals take on a more focal point in the arrangement.
